    Windshield Chip and Crack Repair

Not every chip or crack requires a full windshield replacement. Our windshield repair process injects a clear resin into the damaged area, restoring structural integrity and preventing the damage from spreading.

    What Can Be Repaired

    What Can't Be Repaired

    How Repair Works

Repair time: 15–30 minutes. Cost: Typically $50–$100 per chip — and often covered by insurance with no deductible.

    Windshield Installation & Replacement

When damage is too extensive for repair, we provide full windshield replacement using OEM-equivalent or OEM glass with proper adhesives and installation procedures.

    What's Included

    • Removal of the damaged windshield using professional cut-out tools that protect your vehicle’s pinchweld
    • Surface preparation— old adhesive is trimmed, the pinchweld is primed, and the bonding surface is prepared for maximum adhesion
    • New windshieldinstalled with automotive-grade urethane adhesive that bonds to manufacturer strength specifications
    • Moldings and trimreplaced or reinstalled to factory appearance
    • ADAS recalibrationscheduled if your vehicle has a forward-facing camera (see ADAS camera calibration ← link to ADAS Camera Calibration)
    • Safe drive-away timeconfirmed — you’ll know exactly when it’s safe to drive based on adhesive cure time and conditions

    Glass Options

    • OEM glass— manufactured by the same company that made your vehicle’s original windshield. Exact fit and quality match.
    • OEE (Original Equipment Equivalent)— meets or exceeds OEM specifications at a lower price point. Same performance, different brand.
    • Aftermarket glass— most affordable option, meets federal safety standards (FMVSS 205). Suitable for most vehicles.

We help you choose the right option based on your vehicle, budget, and insurance coverage.

    Mobile Windshield Replacement

Can’t come to us? We come to you. Our mobile windshield replacement service brings the same professional equipment, glass quality, and installation expertise to your home, office, or wherever your vehicle is parked.

    How Mobile Service Works

    Mobile Service Requirements

Mobile service is available for most windshield replacements. Complex jobs involving ADAS calibration may require a shop visit for the calibration step.

    Rear Window Replacement

Rear windows (backlights) take damage from collisions, vandalism, road debris, and thermal stress. Tempered rear windows shatter completely when they fail, requiring full replacement.

    Replace

    What We Replace

    • Fixed rear windows— standard solid rear glass panels
    • Heated rear windows— we maintain the defroster grid connections and verify functionality after installation
    • Rear sliding windows— common on pickup trucks; we replace the full sliding assembly or individual panes
    • Rear wiper windows— we reconnect wiper motor linkage and verify operation

Unlike windshields (which are laminated and may crack but stay intact), tempered rear windows shatter into thousands of small pieces. We handle complete cleanup of your vehicle interior and trunk/cargo area as part of the replacement.

    Replacement

    Side Window Replacement

Side windows — including front door glass, rear door glass, quarter windows, and vent windows — are all tempered glass that shatters on impact. We replace side windows on all vehicle makes and models.

    Common Side Window Issues

    • Break-in damage— the most common cause of side window replacement
    • Road debris impact— rocks and gravel kicked up at highway speed
    • Accident damage— collision damage to door glass and quarter panels
    • Vandalism— intentional breakage
    • Power window failure— glass that drops inside the door due to regulator failure

    Windshield Repair & Replacement FAQ

Chips smaller than a quarter and cracks shorter than 6 inches can usually be repaired — saving you money and time. Damage that's in the driver's line of sight, at the windshield edge, or larger than those thresholds requires replacement. We inspect and recommend the right option.

Most windshield replacements range from $200–$500 depending on the vehicle, glass type (OEM vs. aftermarket), and whether ADAS recalibration is needed. Many auto insurance policies cover windshield replacement with a $0–$100 deductible. We provide exact pricing before starting.

Most comprehensive auto insurance policies cover windshield repair at no cost to you (no deductible). Windshield replacement is also typically covered, often with a reduced deductible. We verify your coverage and handle the insurance process.

Safe drive-away time depends on the adhesive used and weather conditions — typically 1–4 hours. We confirm the exact time for your specific installation. Driving before the adhesive has cured can compromise the windshield's structural bond.

Yes. We replace windshields and all auto glass on cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, and crossovers — all makes and models, domestic and import.

If your vehicle has a forward-facing camera mounted to the windshield (used for lane departure warning, automatic braking, adaptive cruise control), that camera must be recalibrated after windshield replacement. See our ADAS camera calibration ← link to ADAS Camera Calibration page for details.
